一、什麼是 Judgment / Decree？
這是一份法院正式的「離婚判決文件」，內容包括：
- 你們已經合法離婚（marriage dissolved）
- 孩子監護權與探視
- child support／alimony（如適用）
- 財產與債務分配
- 名字變更（如有）
- 是否進入 waiting period（若州有規定）
這份文件最重要的一句通常是：
“The marriage is dissolved.”
這句話出現的那一天，就是你正式離婚的日期。
二、Judgment = Decree 嗎？
是的，兩個意思一樣，只是各州用詞不同。
- Judgment（加州、德州等常用）
- Decree（佛州、亞利桑那、犹他州等常用）
兩者都是正式的離婚判決。
三、什麼時候會拿到 Judgment？（依類型不同）
1. Uncontested（協議離婚）
- 通常 1–3 個月
- 有的州更快，只需文件審核
2. Default Judgment（對方不回應）
- 約 2–6 個月

3. Contested（爭議離婚）

Judgment 發布時：
- 不會詢問移民身分
